EDINBURGH OUTDOOR GO KART RACING
\nTest your driving skills to the max on a spectacular International size outdoor 500m track which is fully floodlit and open all year round. Enjoy the ultimate adrenaline rush in an exhilarating twin-engine 70mph pro-karts.
\nYou will be racing a fleet of 11hp twin engine Biz pro-karts on a spectacular 930m outdoor circuit. These karts are not for the faint hearted capable of reaching speeds of up to 70mph \u2013 adrenaline rush comes as standard.
\nYou don\u2019t need to wait until the Spring. Just remember to wrap up warm though!
\nAll equipment is supplied; Karting racesuit, crash helmet and gloves, plus wetsuit when required. We recommend that participants wear layered clothing and lightweight boots or trainers (no sandals, open toes or high heels please). We can run up to 20 karts in each race on the outdoor circuit. Events can be booked for small groups of up to 10, or for larger groups of up to 40, or more by arrangement (up to 100 drivers) \u2013 all subject to meeting minimum event costs.
\nThe circuit we use is ranked among many of the top pro-karters as one of the most challenging circuits in the UK with a superb combination of tight hairpins, swooping bends and long straights. Your group will have access to the recently extended cafeteria as well as a private outdoor cabin to spectate from should the weather be less favourable.
\nThe Group \u2013 There are two group sizes for Saturday and Sunday Super Grand Prix events \u2013 either a group of 5 to 11 drivers, or a group of up 12 to 32 drivers. No previous experience is necessary although all drivers must be over 16 years of age.
\nThe Race \u2013 Groups of 6-11 Racers \u2013 25 Lap Sprint\u2013 Every driver will compete in a practice session followed by a 25 Lap race to find the champln driver. There will be prizes for winner, printed alp times, Podium with bubbly spraying. The event should last approximately 1.5 hours.
\nThe Race \u2013 Groups of 12-40 Deluxe Grand Prix\u2013 Every driver will compete in a practice session followed by a 5 Lap Heat, 8 Lap Semi Final and a 10 Lap Grand Final for the top drivers. . There will be prizes for winner, printed alp times, Podium with bubbly spraying. The event should last approximately 1.5 hours.
\nSafety Briefing & Equipment \u2013 On arrival you will sign on and pick up your top quality CIK approved racewear, helmets and gloves. You will then attend a full safety briefing, covering racing techniques, driver safety, and track procedures. The latest high tech computerised lap timing equipment is used to determine fastest laps, leader-board positions, and of course race winners.

\nOur venue is situated 30 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre. You can either arrange you own transport or we can arrange for our luxury mini bus will collect you at your accommodation and get youto and from the event.
